The Proud Mother

Textile fiber · 2026

This Colombian mother displays her colors proud, unyielding, and relentless. Although she experienced great loss through the cartels, political figures and civil unrest, she still dances with a smile, cooks with love and holds her remaining children close. Her traditions are passed across oceans in the hopes to escape her traumas and nightmares experienced through her life. While she is beaten she still has hope for a better future for her children. She is strong, she is proud, she is Colombian This work is a unique original work of art - Textile Art by Richard Harding (United States), Textile fiber on Wall. Its dimensions are 66x78.7 cm.
