Engine

Acrylic · 2026

This painting initially started off as an abstract drawing on primed MDF. As time went by I noticed the ink starting to fade and decided to paint over the drawing. I continued painting different forms and colours over a seven year period, in London, Corrèze and Barcelona, I like to think these environments influenced the painting. It's had a few titles but I quite like 'Engine'. For me the imagery in this piece represent a kind of journal of that period of time.
